Lauren is the Vice President of Clinical Services for ReDiscover in Kansas City, Missouri. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Missouri and Kansas. She is an action-oriented professional leader with 17+ years’ experience in behavioral health and 13+ years’ experience in management. She is skilled in evaluating, improving, and coordinating programs and service levels. She has been an agent of change her entire career leading several successful community and agency initiatives including the Hospital Diversion Initiative (ERE), Healthy Campus Initiative, Zero Suicide and more recently being the point person for the State’s first crisis center, KC-Assessment and Triage Center.
Theresa Mueller, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for ReDiscover in Kansas City, Missouri. She has worked in Behavioral Health and Addiction Services for the past 12 years operating a Methadone Clinic providing oversight for the addictions programs for the Western Region for DMH. For the last 2 years, she has provided medical oversight for the first crisis center in the State of Missouri.
This session will discuss outside the box approaches to reaching your communities most vulnerable that suffer from opioid use disorders. It will highlight the use on Suboxone on demand and meeting individuals where they are.
